FluentKey Jobs

ESL CONTENT EDITOR

We’re looking to hire a ESL content editor for our language education startup FluentKey (we help people learn languages through real-world videos like TV and movies, music, news, and commercials: https://fluentkey.com).

This is a flexible part-time position that offers a steady income each week. Work anywhere at hours of your own choice.

Job Description:

1) Find interesting ESL videos on the Internet (such as Youtube) and link them onto our site.

2) Use our easy drag-and-drop editor to add transcripts, subtitles, and comprehension quizzes for each video.

3) Must be a native English speaker.

4) We highly prefer candidates with a background in education and who have ESL teaching experience.

5) Must be able to work consistently between 5-10 hours a week. Your hours are 100% flexible and you can work from home or anywhere else.

Our ideal editor is self-driven, Internet-savvy, and passionate about language education. You are getting in on the ground floor of an exciting new startup with a mission to make language learning more fun and more meaningful. We’ve new, but already growing and getting buzz. The videos you create will be used by thousands of ESL teachers and students around the world. Not only that, you’ll join our close-knit team and have the chance to personally shape the direction of FluentKey going forward.

Depending on your performance, there’s the possibility of this position growing into a larger role with FluentKey during the summer and beyond.

Before you apply, it’s a good idea to create a free Teacher Account at fluentkey.com and explore our existing video library to get a better sense for what we’re asking you to do.

Please email us at jobs@fluentkey.com; enclose a resume and cover letter with your application. In your letter, please explain why you want to work with FluentKey and how you can help us create compelling ESL content. We’ll follow up by phone.
