How to find the perfect video for your language class

One of the main reasons FluentKey was founded was to help save language teachers time! On average, teachers spend 45 minutes searching for a video for just 1 class period. Does that sound familiar? (This time frame doesn’t even include developing activities around the video.)

We make it simple. You can search by keyword, using filters, or any combination of the two!

Here are the steps to find the perfect video on FluentKey.

Using the search option to find a topic by keyword

1. Log in to FluentKey

2. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see our video library. It’ll look something like this:

3. Click on the magnifying glass in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

4. Type a keyword to search for a specific topic. You can type it in English, Chinese, French, or Spanish!

Using the filters option

1. Log in to FluentKey

2. On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll see the filter options:

3. You can sort by language, level, category, theme, feature, duration, or any combination of these!

So if you want to find a French video, that’s an Intermediate High; B2, news clip, and is about sports… you can!

Happy searching!

*Please keep in mind that we are still trying to build out our content library, so not every combination of filter will have a video, but most do!
